The Parent/Family Education Program of St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals can provide you with the help you need to decide where and how to give birth, and how to find a physician or midwife. Ideally, your preparation for a pregnancy will begin a full year before you conceive, with a special emphasis on nutrition and health care. A list of classes is shown below.
The program can be reached at 212-523-6222. To register for a class, leave a message and a staff member will call you back. For advice and referrals, ask to speak to Jo Leonard, RN, MA, FACCE.
