Midwives

Our department has a number of midwives on faculty for obstetric or gynecologic care. We also have connections to several excellent, well-established groups of independent midwives. Whether faculty or independent, all those connected with the department are highly-trained, certified nurse-midwives, and each works in collaboration with one of our faculty physicians. Each can attend births in Mount Sinai West's Birthing Center or in the conventional labor and delivery suite. In the directory below, we first list the faculty midwives, and then, the independent midwives.
