Dr. Lewis is a skilled high-risk pregnancy subspecialist with 13 years of experience in her field; she is board certified in maternal-fetal medicine as well as in general obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Lewis possesses special expertise in maternal and fetal evaluation and diagnosis, as well as clinical expertise in all areas of high-risk pregnancy. Before arriving at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West, she served as Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn from 2010 through 2012. From 2003 until 2010, she was a member of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division at North Shore University Hospital, and from 2006 until 2010, she was also the assistant director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program there, helping with the training of new high-risk pregnancy specialists.

Dr. Lewis received her own fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology was performed at the Medical College of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee, and she completed medical school at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Before attending medical school, she completed a master’s degree in public health at New York University. As an undergraduate at Cornell University in Ithaca, she earned a merit scholarship for her entire program of study.

Dr. Lewis is a fellow of the New York Obstetrical Society and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
