Dr. Rutenberg has been a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2002, and is also an assistant clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Rutenberg received her BA degree from New York University (NYU) in 1994, when she was awarded the annual NYU Faculty Memorial Award. She earned her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook School of Medicine, and there received the Martin Stone Award for Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1998. Her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology took place at the New York University Medical Center, where in 2001 she received the annual teaching award. Dr. Rutenberg is a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York. She is interested in all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology.
