Special Interests or Skills	Provides a full range of obstetric services, including natural childbirth, as a patient option in low-risk deliveries at the Roosevelt Hospital Birthing Center. Office practice includes two certified faculty midwives who provide normal obstetric care and delivery, co-managed by Dr. Paka. Skilled gynecologic surgeon, offering laparoscopic and minimally-invasive treatments.
Dr. Paka has been a member of the obstetrics and gynecology faculty at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center since 1993. Before that time, she was an attending obstetrician and gynecologist at Staten Island University Hospital and at the New York Medical College in Valhalla, where she also trained in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Paka earned her medical degree and completed her first residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at Guntur Medical College, India. Before coming to the United States, she worked in private practice in India, and as an attending physician at the Secteur Sanitair in Skikda, Algeria.
