Dr. Feder joined the faculty of St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in August 2000, when she became director of Ambulatory Obstetrics and Gynecology at Roosevelt Hospital. In 2002, she was appointed assistant clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Feder received her bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. During her undergraduate career, she spent a year at King's College of the University of London studying history and English. She obtained her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine here in New York City. While at Mount Sinai, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Feder received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, a teaching hospital of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. During residency, she was awarded a teaching award by Columbia's medical students, and she was a Galloway Fellow at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center. Dr. Feder is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has special interests in preconception counseling and in laparoscopic and pelvic surgery.
