Susannah Donahue-Negbaur, CNM, MPH, comes to St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals from private midwifery practice in Brooklyn. She was a midwife at Boro Park OB/GYN, delivering at Maimonides Medical Center and caring for a primarily Hasidic population in Williamsburg. She has also worked as an educator, teaching maternal-child nurses at Methodist Hospital and nursing students at New York University. Prior to becoming a nurse and a midwife, Susannah was a public health advocate, working on women’s health and children’s environmental health issues.
Says Susannah, “Pregnancy and childbirth is such an amazing time of growth and learning. One of my favorite things about being a midwife is being with our patients through those transformations.”
