Andrzej Lysikiewicz, MD, PhD, is director of Obstetric and Gynecologic Ultrasound and is also a professor of clinical obstetric and gynecology at Columbia University. He earned his medical degree and a PhD in obstetrics and epidemiology from the University of Warsaw, received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Toronto, and fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

Lysikiewicz is a longtime expert in the use of ultrasound for fetal evaluation and diagnosis; his recent research on tridimensional sonography has advanced biometric evaluation of fetal organs. He has published over 50 reports in peer-reviewed journals and made numerous presentations at professional conferences. He has received grant support for work on computerized fetal heart monitoring and labor monitoring, and he is an elected member of several prestigious societies, including the ISUOG, SMFM, and New York Obstetrical Society. Clinically, Dr. Lysikiewicz specializes in first-trimester NT screening, CVS, and ultrasound-guided fetal procedures.
